Monte has been with the Rogers Historical Museum since 1998. Her job at the museum includes adult presentations, oral history interviews, and presenting bus and walking tours of local historic sites. Monte is a fifth-generation resident of Benton County and a long-time student of history.
A strong advocate of historic preservation, she has partnered with various county, state, and federal agencies to help document local history. Monte also has served on the Pea Ridge National Military Park Foundation Board for more than 10 years.
