Deputy Chief Jeremy Hoyer joined the Rogers Fire Department in 2001. His service at the department includes FF/paramedic and promotion to Captain in 2009. In 2010 he was recognized as the department’s Company Officer of the Year and was part of the department’s Company of the Year in 2013.  He also received department Life-Saving Awards in 2012 and 2016 and a Service Recognition award in 2017. In 2018, he was designated an Accredited Fire Officer by the Center for Public Safety Excellence. In 2019 he was promoted to the Battalion Chief of Training and reassigned in 2021 as the C-Platoon Shift Commander. In 2019 he was appointed as the department’s Accreditation Manager in which the department achieved its 3rd consecutive commission approval for accredited status by the Commission on Fire Accreditation International in 2021. He was promoted to his current position of Deputy Chief of Training and Special Operations in 2022. He has an Associate’s Degree in Paramedic Science from Northwest Arkansas Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Administration from Waldorf University. In 2023, he achieved the designation of Chief Fire Officer (CFO) by the Center for Public Safety Excellence and graduated from the Executive Fire Officer Program at the National Fire Academy.
