From my house at the corner of 4th and Oak, we cannot walk with a baby stroller to downtown without walking in the street. There is either no sidewalk, crumbling sidewalk, or 4-6” curbs to cross at nearly every intersection.

I live in-between Olive and Walnut and we've been having an issue with cars driving way too fast. We have no sidewalks here so people and kids often walk in the street with cars seriously driving way...

I live in-between Olive and Walnut and we've been having an issue with cars driving way too fast. We have no sidewalks here so people and kids often walk in the street with cars seriously driving way too fast for conditions. I'm not even sure if speed bumps are a thing here but I think that would be a definite deterrent. I would even consider footing the bill if it was an option.
