Or a Fit Fest. Or something like that. We have a ton of fitness and health professionals in Rogers, and if we started a regular group exercise event, I know we would have a lot of talented people willing to lead it. We could use Fresco Stage, or maybe the Farmers Market, and host different classes every Saturday Morning. We could do Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, etc.

This would not only give our residents a place to buy clothes, but it would draw more young people to downtown who would discover all of the wonderful stores and restaurants we have down here.

I have been biking to everything I can for three years now. It has saved me a ton of gas money, helped me get to know the neighborhood, encouraged me to shop locally 95% of the time, and because I'm only buying a few things at the grocery store every couple days, I've been eating more fresh produce. The only issue I've had is that we don't have bike trails throughout the city, and many of the side walks are broken, or they just end abruptly, leaving me to swerve on to the rode, and coming over the getters is not easy on my bike. I also don't enjoy riding on the road in high traffic areas. If it were easier to bike I think more people would, especially if we planned some activities that would showcase how easy and fun it is. A Tour de Rogers perhaps?

I live in-between Olive and Walnut and we've been having an issue with cars driving way too fast. We have no sidewalks here so people and kids often walk in the street with cars seriously driving way too fast for conditions. I'm not even sure if speed bumps are a thing here but I think that would be a definite deterrent. I would even consider footing the bill if it was an option.

I think having some giant board game type activities around the downtown Rogers area could be fun! Possibly oversized games like Jenga, Connect 4, Jenga, etc.
