[ARCHIVED] Christmas Tree Disposal Options

Christmas Tree Disposal Options

There are multiple options to dispose of a Christmas tree in Rogers.

LRS Curbside Live Christmas Tree Collection:

City of Rogers residents may contact LRS at 479-878-1384 to schedule for their live Christmas tree to be picked up at the curb. Please contact LRS by Monday, January 8th to schedule your live Christmas trees to be collected from January 8th, 2024 to January 12th, 2024 on your normal scheduled service day. Live Christmas trees must be free of lights, ornaments, tinsel and stands, or they will not be removed due to regulations for proper disposal. Artificial trees will not be taken.

Collected trees will be used as fish habitat in Beaver Lake.

Live Christmas Tree Drop-Off at the Yard Waste Disposal Site:

The Rogers yard waste facility at 2307 N. Arkansas St. also will take Christmas trees. A person must be a city resident to use this option. Residents should bring their Rogers water bill. Trees must be free of ornaments, tinsel and bases. The yard waste area is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, according to the city. Artificial trees will not be taken.
