As part of the Downtown revitalization plan, improvements are being made to the intersection of Poplar Street and 13th Street. A full closure with detours will begin on Monday, December 18th and continue through May 2024.
Construction has been going on in the area since early November for the 13th Street Bicycle Facilities Improvement Project, which will create safe bicycle facilities along 13th Street for a main north/south arterial bicycle network. The existing detours will continue with extra signage for the full closure of the Poplar Street / 13th Street intersection. Local traffic will have access.
