[ARCHIVED] Pauline Whitaker Roundabout Improvements Beginning November 27th

Pauline Whitaker Roundabout

To increase driver and pedestrian safety as well as continue to improve traffic flow, the roundabout at Pauline Whitaker Parkway and Pinnacle Hills Parkway will be under construction for improvements starting next week. This will reduce the lanes of the roundabout from two to one. Designated right turn lanes will be added. The new design will be intuitive and similar to other intersections in Rogers.

During construction, traffic control devices and signage will be placed to merge traffic to one lane. The traffic pattern will shift as construction progresses, but detours will be available. Drivers are encouraged to use caution while proceeding through the intersection. Construction begins on Monday, November 27th and will continue through February.

These improvements are part of the Uptown Connectivity Project. To follow the project online, goals, action steps, and timeline can be found at https://www.rogersar.gov/1233/Uptown-Connectivity-Phase-2
