[ARCHIVED] Rogers Christmas Parade Continues its Standing Tradition in Downtown

Christmas Parade Route

The Rogers Christmas Parade is set to sparkle through downtown as the City of Rogers confirms information about this year’s parade.   The parade will follow its traditional route and take place on its traditional date, the first Friday in December. This year’s parade is being coordinated by the Rotary Clubs of Rogers and is sponsored by First National Bank of NWA.  It all starts December 2nd at 7pm in downtown Rogers.

“Community and tradition are two words that come to mind whenever I think about the Rogers Christmas Parade.  The parade has a long history of bringing folks out with their blankets and cocoa to enjoy the festivities. This tradition has the universal support of our community and the City of Rogers.”
- Rogers Mayor Greg Hines

The Rotary Club of Rogers and the Rotary Club of Downtown Rogers will coordinate the event that showcases the community's holiday spirit. This will include managing float entries and parade lineup.  Categories for parade entries include Floats (large vehicles, trucks and trailers) and Non-Floats (including marching or walking groups, cars and bands). The parade entry fee is $35 up to 100 feet, while all school bands are free.

"Members of our two clubs are excited to work together to build goodwill and better friendships during the holiday season by continuing the beloved tradition of the Rogers Christmas Parade,"
- Kent Eikenberry, Club President – Downtown Rogers Rotary Club

- Rob Husong, President – First National Bank of NWA

The Rogers Christmas Parade route begins at 5th St. and Poplar St. and then leads through the heart of downtown, down 1st St. and Walnut St.  Residents and visitors are welcome to enjoy the parade and vibrant holiday atmosphere of downtown Rogers at any point along the route.  See the map for complete route and staging area.
