[ARCHIVED] Fair Housing Public Meeting

Fair Housing Public Meeting 8/30 10:30 AM at Rogers City Hall contact Donna 479-621-1121

The City of Rogers is conducting an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice and invites citizens and other interested parties to participate in the process.  On August 30, 2022, the City is hosting a Public Hearing where citizens and stakeholders are invited to attend and provide input on fair housing issues.  The City needs your input!  We want the community to help us identify fair housing issues in the City in order to develop goals and plans to improve equal and fair housing choice for all residents.  We want to better understand residents’ and stakeholders’ experiences with housing and discrimination and barriers to finding rental and owner housing in the City.

The input you provide will assist the City in preparing the Analysis of Impediments and the 2023-2027 Five Year Consolidated Plan which is required by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the City to continue receiving Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds each year.  The Rogers Public Hearing will start at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the Rogers City Council Chambers located at 301 West Chestnut, Rogers, AR.

Please contact Donna Johnston by phone at 479-621-1121 or email at djohnston@rogersar.gov if you have any questions. Your input will be important as we work to make your City an even better place to live. Individuals who require auxiliary aids, services, sign language and non-English speaking individuals who require interpreters for this Hearing should contact Donna Johnston at least one week before the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
