[ARCHIVED] Yard Waste Disposal Options

Yard Waste

There are a number of year-round options for yard waste disposal in Rogers.  As we enter Spring, it is a good time to highlight them.

1) Burn yard waste on your property - Rogers residents can apply for a Burn Permit to burn yard waste on their property.  Permits are issued by the Rogers Fire Department 479-621-1179.  A Burn Permit Form and other information, including burning on a commercial site, can be found at https://www.rogersar.gov/542/Burn-Permit.

2) Take yard waste to Rogers Yard Waste Facility - The city operates a yard waste disposal site at 2307 N Arkansas St.  It is open from 7:30am to 3:00pm Tuesday through Saturday.  Acceptable material includes trees, branches, grass and leaves, but not stumps or lumber.  This facility is available for Rogers residents.  Questions about this facility can be directed to the Rogers Street Department 479-621-1140.

3) Schedule a Special Pickup through LRS / Orion Waste Solutions - LRS / Orion will pick up yard waste if bagged in their yard waste bags, which can be purchased at their office 848 Highway 264E or at Garner's Building Supply 125 E Locust St.  The price of the bags pays for the cost of disposal of the material.  A special pickup must be scheduled with LRS / Orion 479-878-1384.
