Starting June 1st, closures will be in place on W. Northgate Rd. and also on N. Arkansas St. as part of planned improvements.
On Northgate Rd., contractors are undercutting the roadway and installing storm drainage as part of the Uptown connectivity project, which will improve traffic flow along the Uptown perimeter. The closure will be done in two sections, all between S. Windsor Dr. and S. Champions Dr. Detours will be in place to route traffic through W. Stoney Brook Rd.

The intersection of N. Arkansas St. and W. Walnut St. will also be closed starting next week. This closure is to rebuild the intersection as part of the Arkansas St. improvement project, which supports Downtown Rogers revitalization and maximizes access to Railyard Park, Lake Atalanta and other amenities. The contractor is coordinating with adjacent property owners to maintain access during the closure.

Both closures are scheduled to begin June 1st and last approximately 3 months, depending on the weather.
