The City of Rogers mask ordinance has lifted. At the May 25th City Council meeting, Rogers City Council voted unanimously 8-0 to repeal the city’s mask ordinance #20-54. This took affect at 3:34pm today, May 27th, as the last school bells rang at Rogers High School and Heritage High School.
Referring to the Council’s support of Rogers Public Schools and the continued increase in the availability of vaccines, Mayor Hines stated, “We think we have met the burden of carrying everyone in our community across the finish line together”.
At the City Council meeting, a follow up resolution was adopted to encourage residents of Rogers to continue following Arkansas Department of Health guidelines in relation to COVID-19.
