[ARCHIVED] Rogers Water Utilities Response to COVID-19 Virus

RWU Logo

Rogers Water Utilities (RWU) has temporarily suspended all water service disconnections and has already reinstated services to those who had been disconnected due to non-payment in response to the developing events surrounding COVID-19 virus. Utility customers should continue to pay their bill for water, sewer, and trash services as the customer will be responsible for any charges and usage during this moratorium. If a Rogers Water Utilities customer is unable to make payment, we ask they contact our Customer Service immediately to set up payment options.

We encourage you to interact with us remotely whenever possible for the health and safety of our customers and staff. Currently, our offices have discontinued in-person meetings with outside parties as much as is possible and our lobby is closed. Our drive-through remains open and the following options still exist for making payments without visiting Rogers Water Utilities in person:

  • Mail in payments. For your convenience an envelope is provided in your monthly billing statement.
  • Call Customer Service and set up automatic bank draft.
  • Leave a bill payment in our on-site drop box – 24 / 7.
  • Visit our website and make online payments. www.RWU.org (fees apply)
  • Make a payment by Phone (833) 362-3803 (fees apply)

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP:

Rogers Water Utilities remains open and committed to providing customers high-quality water and dependable service. We understand during this unprecedented time that many citizens are uncertain; uncertain on how to help their neighbors and where they might be able to receive assistance.

Rogers Water Utilities partners with Our Healthy Communities to provide assistance to customers who are struggling to make their water utility payment through Help to Others (H2O). This program allows Rogers Water Utilities customers to contribute a set additional amount on their monthly payment to go directly to assisting other Rogers Water customers in need. We believe “Charity begins at home,” and many of our Rogers Water Utilities employees participate voluntarily in contributing to H2O as well as other charities in our community to assist our neighbors.

Help to Others provides assistance to Rogers Water customers who face unexpected hardships such as medical emergencies, temporary loss of employment, unexpected financial shortfalls beyond individual control, and other unfortunate situations. If you are interested in participating in Help to Others (H2O), please call our office at (479) 621-1142. You can also make a one-time donation at our drive-through, the RWU night-drop box, or by mail. For more information go to www.RWU.org/new-customers/services-and-information/ or www.OHCNWA.org

We continue to work closely with our local, state and national leaders to ensure our community has the needed water and sanitation needs met throughout this event. For Information call Customer Service at (479) 621-1142 during regular office hours – 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday) or visit our website at www.RWU.org for the latest information.
