[ARCHIVED] Rogers Historical Museum announces Meet the Director event on March 12

The Rogers Museum Foundation, Rogers Museum Commission, and Friends of the Rogers Historical Museum are pleased to officially introduce Director Serena Barnett to the Rogers community at a “Meet the Director” event on Thursday, March 12 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Mayor Greg Hines and Barnett will be speaking at 6 p.m. Residents and visitors are invited to drop in and meet Barnett at any time during the event. Light refreshments will be provided.

Barnett began serving as the director of the Rogers Historical Museum on December 9, 2019. Prior to taking the position, Barnett served on the staff of numerous historical museums, including the Pea Ridge National Military Park, Gilcrease Museum, Tulsa Historical Society and the Rogers Museum in the early 2000’s. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Arkansas and Masters of Arts in Museum Studies from John Hopkins University.
