Orion Waste Solutions is picking up bagged leaves between the dates below
Monday December 9th - Friday December 20th
Orion Waste Solutions ask that you follow these simple guidelines to help us serve you better:
- Contact Orion Waste Solutions at 479-878-1384 at least 48 hours in advance of your normal pick up day to let us know you will have leaves to be picked up and how many bags you will have at your curb. Orion Waste will only pick up 30 bags per household during this leaf clean up event. If you have more than 30 bags or will exceed your 30-bag limit, the extra bags can be handled by one of the following alternative methods below:
- Please set your bagged leaves curbside by 7 a.m. on your regular pick up day during the leaf pick up week.
- Do not place bagged leaves in streets, ditches, fire hydrants, any utility service, or block water run off grates.
- Do not combine leaf bags with your neighbors or co-mingle with trash. Bagged leaves need to be at least 2 feet away from your trash or recycling container and minimum of 4 feet from any vehicle.
- This is a leaf clean up. Twigs, branches, pine cones, walnuts and pecans will not be collected.
Alternative #1: If you have over 30 bags, as a resident of Rogers, you may take your extra bagged leaves for free to the Benton County Solid Waste Compost Facility located at 2200 N. Arkansas Street during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday thru Saturday. Please note the facility is closed for lunch daily from 12:00pm to 12:30pm. Please have your I.D. with you.
Alternative #2 AVAILABLE YEAR-ROUND: You can also purchase additional Orion Waste Solutions bio-gradable bags at Garner’s Building Supply located at 125 E. Locust Street, Rogers. These bags include service and disposal in the price. The bags sell for $10.00 plus tax for pack of 5 bags. 1) Purchase bags 2) Fill bags 3) Call Orion Waste Solutions to inform them you will have bags on your service day at least 48 hours prior to your regular service day.
Remember-mulching leaves with your mower back into your lawn is more beneficial to your yard’s health!
