The intersection will be closed Saturday, June 8th to Sunday, June 9th. The Street Department will be removing everything in the intersection in preparation for continued improvements to 1st street. The intersection will have a gravel base, and be reopened on Monday, June 10th. If work is completed before the 10th, the intersection will be re-opened.
This closure will dramatically speed up the construction process for this intersection. Please be patient as we add trail connections to downtown and make pedestrian improvements in this area. See map below for details.
