The Rogers Fire Department provides fire, emergency medical, hazardous materials, and technical rescue service to the City of Rogers and surrounding areas of Benton County.

Founded in 1888 as the all-volunteer Rogers Hose Company Number 1, the modern Rogers Fire Department is an entire career organization with over 154 full-time employees, eight fire stations, a training campus and a building for the Risk Reduction Division.

Rogers: The Center of Retail and Business for Northwest Arkansas

The City of Rogers has grown from a hard-working 19th-century rail town into one of the best places to live in America, according to CNN Money Magazine. Besides being the home of over 80,000 residents, the city is also the center of commerce and retail for Northwest Arkansas.

The City of Rogers is routinely recognized as a progressive community for business and a premier area of commerce. The city is home to the newest hotels, restaurants, amenities, an authentic historic downtown district, and unrivaled natural beauty with Beaver Lake and the rolling hills of the Ozarks.

Mark of Excellence

In 2011, the Rogers Fire Department was first accredited by the Commission on Fire Accreditation International. Following that designation, the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services also accredited the department for its pre-hospital emergency medical care. Subsequently, the department has undergone re-accreditation every few years. In 2015, the department was awarded an Insurance Service Office rating of one. This insurance rating is based on a one to ten scale. A lower rating indicates superior fire protection capability. Rogers is the only department in the state and one of just a handful nationwide to attain this “triple crown” mark of excellence. These achievements ensure that the citizens of Rogers receive the highest quality care anywhere in the world.
