The Uniform Operations Division consists of 4 Platoons with 2 squads per Platoon.
Each squad comprises 1 Sergeant, 1 Corporal, and several Officers.
Two Lieutenants act as Shift Commanders.
Uniform Operations Division (Patrol) works 12 hours shifts with the following days worked:
“Long week” work Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
“Short week” work Wednesday and Thursday.
One work day will be an 8-hour day for 80 hours per two-week period.
Shift hours are 6 am – 6 pm/7 am – 7 pm and 6 pm – 6 am/7 pm to 7 am.

A squad in patrol is staffed with a corporal who serves as acting sergeant when the assigned sergeant is unavailable and several police officers who are assigned to 1 of 6 zones.
